Black Hawk Retriever Club Judges Seminar

Plan to attend this one-day seminar.
* Entry fee includes lunch and AKC training kit ($64.85 — $60 entry fee plus $4.85 processing fee to Entry Express)
* Required seminar for AKC Hunting Test Judges
* Learn how to become an AKC Hunting Test Judge
* Learn how tests are set up and how judges score performance
* Learn more about the AKC Hunting Test program from the judge’s viewpoint
* Learn more about the AKC Hunting Test program from the participant’s viewpoint
* Ask questions about future programs and how to contribute to our sport
* The seminar will be conducted by an AKC Representative

APRIL 3, 2022 — OPTIONAL AND OPEN TO ALL.
FOR THOSE WHO ATTEND THE SEMINAR AND FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ATTEND, the Blackhawk Retriever Club members will sponsor a day in the field on Sunday, April 3rd from 9 a.m. to 2 pm.

* This field day is OPEN TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO ATTEND. YOU DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND THE SAT WORKSHOP.
* Apply what you learned about AKC Hunting test setup and judging to real dog work (dog/handler teams will be provided)
* Use AKC Hunting Test scoring sheets to score the dogs and calculate their scores
* Discuss setups, management of the line area (dogs and handlers), scoring and dog work with your leaders and peers
* Box lunch will be available for purchase
* Location will be announced at the AKC Judging and Handling Seminar, and will be either the same location as Day 1 or within a few miles of Day 1 location.
