Everyone is invited!
Join your fellow Lake Country Retriever Club members and families as we celebrate another successful year of training, hunt tests, and club activities while kicking off the upcoming Fall Hunting Season.
Whether you’re a long-time member, new to the club, an active volunteer, or simply looking to spend a fun day with fellow retriever enthusiasts, we’d love to have you join us for a morning of sporting clays followed by a relaxed potluck lunch.
Sunday, August 23
Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club â Nature’s Inn
10:30 AM â Approximately 2:00 PM
The day includes:
- â Coffee & donuts during arrival
- đ Welcome and safety briefing
- đŻ 50-round sporting clays shoot
- đ Bluffs & Upland courses
- đ˝ Potluck lunch and social time following the shoot
Celebrating Our Volunteers
The LCRC Board and Membership sincerely thank the many volunteers whose time and dedication make our club successful each year.
As a token of appreciation:
- Members who volunteered two or more days during qualifying club activities will receive a complimentary round of sporting clays.
- Members who did not meet the volunteer criteria are still encouraged to attend and shoot for a nominal fee of $25 per person.

- Hunt Tests
- Challenge Hunts
- Committee Service
- Professional Training Leadership
- Hunt Test Judging
- Bird Dog Open
No matter how you participate in LCRC, this event is a great opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet newer members, and enjoy a day together before hunting season begins.
What to Bring
- Shotgun
- Two boxes (50 rounds) of target-load shotgun shells
- Hearing protection
- Folding chair
- A dish, dessert, snack, or favorite hunt camp recipe to share
- Your smileâand a few great dog stories!
LCRC will provide Sloppy Joes, water, plates, utensils, and all the camaraderie that comes with spending the day with fellow retriever enthusiasts.
